RPNS' New Building Project
- What? a new, purpose built child care centre, creating 80+ spaces
- Why? local families are in increasing need of both flexible part time and full time care, while Riverside Park has no full time licenced English child care centres
- Where? RPNS is working with Canoe Bay to realize a dedicated child care centre as part of the age in place retirement community. Access to the new 1.5 acre park would allow Nature programming to continue, while access to the senior residents provides the potential for intergenerational programs
- How? RPNS has submitted an application for Child Care Capital. Upon approval, RPNS will partner with Canoe Bay to help realize the project, as well as continue to explore amalgamation with Andrew Fleck Childcare Services, a long-standing not-for-profit child care agency who shares our vision and commitment to quality early childhood education.
